Savannah Shearer began dancing at the age of three. She began competing at nine, and continued to train extensively in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater. Savannah supplemented her dance background by participating in theater and was part of many different theater companies throughout Eastern Washington. She had various supporting, as well as leading, roles in plays.

Through her time competing as a dancer, Savannah developed a strong work ethic and appreciation for technique and performance quality. Savannah was named Miss Senior Spotlight Portland in 2009, Miss Onstage New York Portland 2008 and 2009, and received an invitation to be a demonstrator for Tremaine Dance Conventions for the 2010-2011 regional season.

Savannah began teaching at the age of 15. Upon graduating high school in Richland, WA, Savannah was accepted into Cornish College of the Arts' dance program, as well as the University of Idaho's dance program where she was also requested to be part of the U of I Dance Team. Due to her strong ties to her home studio, Savannah decided to continue to teach dance throughout college and graduated from Washington State University with a degree in history.

She has worked as a choreographer for various studios around the Pacific Northwest and the Boston, MA area. She has received choreography awards at many regional and national competitions. Savannah was co-choreographer for the Miss Washington’s Outstanding Teen pageant from 2015-2018.

Savannah has always had a passion for education and dance. With her background in dance, theater, and music, Savannah has a broad scope of focus on musicality, performance, and technique. She has an eye for minute details and always aspires to help students perform as the best versions of themselves so that they can be successful wherever their path takes them.
